Cookie Policy
What this site stores in your browser, and why.
Effective date: 21 September 2026
The short version
GatekeeperOps does not currently use cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage or similar browser storage on this website, and the site carries no analytics, tag manager, advertising pixel or session recording. There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to ask you to consent to.
That is a description of how the site is built today, not a permanent guarantee. If that changes, this page changes with it, and the effective date above will move.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, so it can be read back on a later request. Cookies are commonly used to keep you signed in, to remember a preference, or to recognise a returning visitor for measurement or advertising. Related technologies such as browser storage, pixels and device fingerprinting can be used for similar purposes.
Cookies are described as first-party when they are set by the site you are visiting, and third-party when they are set by another domain whose content is loaded into that page.
What this site uses
The categories below are the ones usually described in a cookie policy. We have said for each whether it applies here.
- Strictly necessary. None are set. The site is informational, with no login, session, basket or saved state, so nothing needs to be remembered between requests.
- Functionality and preferences. None are set. The site stores no preference, such as a theme or a dismissed notice, in your browser.
- Analytics and performance measurement. None are used. We have not added an analytics or measurement tool to this site.
- Advertising and targeting. None are used. We do not run advertising from this site, and there is no advertising or social tracking pixel on it.
Typefaces and other assets
The typefaces used here are bundled at build time and served from our own domain. Viewing a page does not cause your browser to contact a font provider, and no cookie is involved in loading them. Images and other assets are served the same way.
Third-party sites we link to
This site does not embed third-party content, so no third party can set a cookie while you are on a GatekeeperOps page. What the site does have is links that take you somewhere else, and those destinations are separate websites.
- The booking form used to arrange an introductory call is hosted by a third-party provider on its own website. Following that link takes you to their site, where their cookie policy and their terms apply.
- Links to social platforms and code hosting take you to those platforms, which operate their own cookies and tracking.
- A separate GatekeeperOps site covering QA automation services is a different site, and what it uses is described there rather than here.
We do not control what those services store on your device, and we do not restate their practices here, because they can change them at any time. If you want to know what a destination uses, its own cookie or privacy policy is the accurate source.
Why there is no cookie table
A cookie table lists each cookie by name, purpose and lifetime. There are no first-party cookies here to list. We have chosen not to publish a table of another company's cookies, because those values are outside our control and a stale table would be worse than none.
Server logs
Cookies are not the only way information can be recorded. As with any website, delivering a page requires a connection to our hosting provider, which may log technical details such as IP address, the page requested and the time of the request as an inherent part of serving the site and keeping it secure. This happens at the server and does not involve storing anything on your device. Our Privacy Policy covers this.
Controlling cookies in your browser
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking them, deleting existing ones, or being warned before one is set. The relevant settings are usually under privacy or site data, and the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge each explain the steps for that browser.
Blocking cookies will not affect this site, since it does not use any. It may affect third-party sites you visit through our links, and blocking cookies broadly can stop other websites from working as intended.
Changes to this policy
If we add anything to this site that sets a cookie or stores data in your browser, we will update this page before or at the time it goes live, and we will add the consent controls required by applicable law. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect.
